Additional information.
In an effort to cut the time for stripping out cars, the tendency is for the operative to only remove what is essential to do the repair and then cover up the rest. This leads to windscreens and windows, body panels and the interiors having to be covered to prevent any damage from sparks and grinding splashes.

Unfortunately, the bodyshop is a place where welding sparks and grinding sparks are all too familiar. However the protection mats etc currently available are always too small and too rigid or the interior protection sheets are always time consuming to fit.

Sure enough many screens, interiors and panels are damaged every year in every bodyshop because somehow the spark always gets through the protection.
